Hello all,
To wish you a merry Christmas, here is a new version of Mame4All for GCW-ZERO, the multiple game arcade emulator

See wathsnew.txt for all

Picture (from Windows SDL version, the source code is compatible) :

You can download here :
- mame4all GCW0 v1.1 : Mame4All executables
- mame4all GCW0 v1.1 source code : Mame4All source code

Warning, big file to download, more than 15MB !

To use it, unzip archive, put opk file in apps directory of your GCW0.
Others text files are gamelist and rom files needed for each game

Howto convert contemporary mame romset to old 0.37b5

1) Take clrmame.dat
2) Take http://mamedev.emulab.it/clrmamepro/
3) Take 0.151 mame romset
4) Convert!

In fact, I did this kind of conversion long ago and it worked for me at that time. Totally untested with 0.151 but should work in theory.

Is this compatible with the merged rom set that have started to appear in the last year or so, or do you still have to use the split rom sets?

Is there a way to change the rom directory after you have set it when you first load the emulator??

Also whats the steps to compling the 0.37b5 romset using clrmamepro, i have,

Selected 'Add DatFile'
Selected clrmame.dat (as posted by d-smagin)
It then shows up within the profile window of clrmame
Double click the Mame4All Roms Datfile

It then gives you 4 options, which do i need to select the default option?, and then select 'Rebuilder' from the new pop up window?? Any other options need changing from default settings?

Just wanted to give my heartfelt thanks! The missus is annoyed as I'm interrupting Christmas TV (pc connected to tele) whilst I get it all working!

Can we use snaps with mame4all - and if not can I request it as a feature? perhaps it's already possible and I'm being a dunce.
