Here's the latest version, sorry for the delays.

I've added scanlines, lynx version 1 and 2 backgrounds and done some optimising. Configuration settings are saved on exit. I've changed key mapping for the SELECT button to menu instead of reset. You can exit from the menu anyway.

Let me know if you find further bugs. I would love to have been testing it but my son stole my gcw0 when he saw me testing batman >:(

I'll upload sourcecode changes to github shortly.

This is an emulator core issue, the same bug is present in the windows version. It is the only game with issues.

I've seen several reports of the same problem.

Hello,

Thank you for your awesome work! It's nice to be able to play Lynx games again! I recently downloaded the newest version of handy from the GCW-Zero downloads section, which looks like it's the most recent release (Mar 2015). I see to be having trouble getting the screen to go to full screen. I get the two lynx boarders, but when it looks like it's going to go to fullscreen, it just stays in the normal scale. Am I missing something? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!

Probably a firmware issue. Confirm your firmware is version 20/08/2014.

The full screen setting uses hardware scaling which is a recent addition to the firmware.

You were right! I was off by one update. How embarrassing.

Hi
Here is Handy320- Atari Lynx emulator- compiled and packaged for GCW0.
Credit goes to: d_smagin, I've just compiled his sources and David Knight for fixing bugs.

USAGE:
You need a copy of lynx bios -lynxboot.img (512 Bytes, MD5: fcd403db69f54290b51035d82f835e7b), put it in /data/local/home/.handy
All other instruction in original thread

Hello,

How do I install the boot image?

It says to place lynxboot.img in $HOME/.handy

How can I do that?  I have the image file downloaded from the internet.  I tried placing it in the apps folder both zipped and unzipped but no luck.  The games in the emulator still say the same thing listed above.

Download:
Here's an updated version of this emulator, now with full speed and doublebuffering enabled. I've also enabled the IPU to do the scaling and fixed the 'crash on exit' bug (accidentally as it happens ;)).

Make sure the bios correctly named, all lowercase and in the following location:

You can use DinguxCmdr, GCW Zero Manager or an ftp client to move your file to the correct directory.

I wonder if some of us are using a different version of the BIOS file. I can't get it to launch, either ...and I'm 99% certain I have it in the right place.

It's great all these emulators and all, but what would be really great is an actual working link.
You know, so people can actually use them.
There are actually very little working links to any of these OPK's on here.

Edit
Found some on the repository

Hi guys, I'm finally getting around to trying Handy.  Is it a known issue that many games don't work?  I'm going alphabetically through the rom list, and so far three work out of about 30... :(

Update:
I went through the full rom list and only the below games work.  (although it runs excellently for these, thank you for your work)

baseball heroes
basketbrawl
crystal mines II
ishido
joust

Yeah, i couldn't run some of the Lynx games myself too. It's not compatible with recent dumps.
You can use Mednafen to play your Lynx games :
