I am neither a programmer, nor am i involved with the development of Dingux.
There are however a few things i can say that may help you.
No one who works on Dingux, or Applications that run on Dingux is actually paid to do this.
These are all people who either work for a living or go to school.
This is a project that people do in their free-time, so it is to be assumed that development will take longer than it would if this were actually something people got paid to do.
Apart from that: "It's done when it's done.".
