Edit: I'm not easily sold on specs so maybe it was more about the videos Q posted. But it was mostly just wanting to be a spectator for this impressive project, so that's why I picked the last one.

Also, I hate to be a nazi. As you see above, "your" should be "you're" and information is spelled with an extra "n"

I first saw a post on obscurehandhelds with qbertaddict's video and have been following the development since. :-)
I selected "Your just a retro-gaming freak and had to add it to your collection", but the more I think about it, it really was a lot of qbertaddict's videos that got me excited. Anyways, I can't change my selection now.

I voted for you too... It was the teaser videos that appeared on Dingoo-scene.blogspot.... same reason I got Yinlips machine.. Found out about the Dingoo A320 all by mysef though

I got some coming up. Just been busy. Got a wife and kid that I don't want to neglect

I wonder what the final hardware is going to be like. I like the current build now. It is not a shiny, fancy, piece of machine but it has got heart and lots of potential. If the final product ships as it is now I would be more than happy. Some might complain the it looks cheap, or that it is too light(my wife did) but all they need to do is play a game or two and then they realize that you can have a shiny piece of hardware that is $200,$300, or even $500 but if it doesn't play the games correctly its not worth anything. That is why I strayed away from the yinlips and jxd android devices. I was spending way too much time and money for one feature that was promised but not quite pulled off. I'd rather play a device that has a scene that is supported by the devs and always being improved. Everyone needs to realize that this is not a BMW or Mercedes it is a high end device in a affordable price range. I hope people will like it. I think I have shown enough videos demonstrating that I am not having issues hitting diagonals or issues with combos. We know some emulators need work but that is why we have brought the best of the best onto the team. People also need to realize that this is the first device from a small company(not really a company). A company of 10 people on a limited budget and only one person funding it. I think that if you are into retro games you will have fun with this device. It is better than other products on the market at much higher prices. I'm sure there will be things people complain about but those complaints can always be implemented in the next device provided there is enough interest.

qbertaddict, my friend. I think both you and GCW had done very well for this device. You kept posting video on testing the main emulation games on GCW zero. This let us know how great this device will be. Just keep your hard work. Your work is respected here.

As a small team, there will be many many problem ahead. I think this is very common for a team even a big team when they start to make something different. Think about Apple, Nokia. Their products can not meet every people's demand. No matter how well they do. There will be some people who will not satisfied. That is because different have different demand. As a team or a company, we need to obtain the main demands. You will success if you do that. In fact, I think GCW zero had reached this. The reason is very simply because GCW zero is delay to be released again and again. It is worthwhile to wait as a team want to bring a good device to the customers. I think GCW is doing in this way in the past months.

Focus on the main demand and take customers's complains as suggestion to improve the next version GCW ZERO. We really love this device. Willgoo will restock this device next month. That is our support to your jobs and we hope people can buy this device in an easy way at that same time.

That's an excellent way of describing the problem. We're a niche market and we've been drowning in Chinese Android systems. Don't the sheeps realize what's going on? They're just selling you one gimmick after another. They're never going to take their time to design an end-all be-all device because then you won't have a reason to buy their next one. GCW on the other hand, had to take their time to make one thing that works really well because they can't release a newer, slightly improved handheld every month. I still check out the Android section and all I see is the community wasting their valuable time trying to fix problems and design flaws these consoles should never have left the factory with (yeah, I know, don't throw bricks in glass houses) and people getting excited about next month's new device.

I remember right before I pre-ordered the Zero I was torn between waiting for it or getting a JXD/Yinlips device. Thankfully, I chose to preorder the Zero, and if it didn't arrive on time, I'd get a JXD 5100 to fill the void. I'm sure I made the right decision. The delay hasn't been too bad and the JXD ended up taking home the award for most halarious design flaw ever- no shoulder buttons.

It's best we keep the community and stay away from too much attention or else people might buy it on impulse and get frustrated when they won't learn how to make it work as they expected it to. Keep it small, just because it's not sold at Target doesn't mean it's not a success.

Hi everyone! Since I'm now going to get one of these, I thought I would say hi

The reason why I decided to get the GCW is a long one. I had read a bit about open handhelds and I was throughly impressed, it was something I would like a lot. After my DS broke I had found myself playing the GBA port of OutRun and the thought of being able to play Robotron and Megaman on the go really made me look further.

At first I looked into the Pandora. My favourite games tend to be either fast paced arcades or slow, thoughful games in computers and it seemd practically the only thing that would cover both. But the price was really steep and when I listed what games I would play, I only found older versions of games I would rather play on my tabletop PC or games I would beat in a month.

By this time, some of the GCW Zero guys popped up at a forum I visit to talk about the console and it looked interesting. It seemed pretty powerful (translation: Can emulate OutRun), cheap and unlike the other Android consoles it looked like I wouldn't be on my own, trying to make a device work, rather, it was designed to be played on, which is pretty great.

So, that's it

Now all I need to know is: Can we play Virtua Racing on this thing? Via a Megadrive/32x emulator, of course!
