Oh I know something I wanted to see on the Zero!

Any word on Wolfenstein 3D working on it? I know it existed for the A320, and worked well on the native firmware. However, the version that works for OpenDingux (just Dingux I think, but works on OD) didn't allow you to save, at least I wasn't able to, or didn't know how to.

A friend came down to play the GCW and did an interview with me. I sound like a douche but you can finally see what my fat ass looks like!

The Caanoo port is a statically recompiled (not to confuse with static linking) dos x86 -> arm linux binary. It's done on such a low level, no source code is involved. Hence we can't port it to non-ARM platform.

OK but if we have dosbox at some point will it be ok then?

What I'd really like to see on the GCW-0 is an all-in-one media player. There are some PC media players that can (with the proper plug-ins) play mp3s, oggs, music videos, SID and console chiptunes, Amiga MODs, and midis all on a single playlist, without having to switch between half a dozen specialized players for each file type. What kind of media player(s) will the GCW-0 ship with installed?
I play games on: Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, GBA SP, NDS Phat, NeoGeo Pocket Color, Panasonic FZ-10 3DO, Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Nomad, Sega CDX w/Power Base Converter, PlayStation, Sega Saturn, PC, EGP1000, Dingoo A330, LetCool N350JP, PAP-GAMETA, and (FINALLY!) GCW-Zero SE.

Currently playing: Guardian War (3DO), Final Fantasy II USA Proto (NES on Letcool), EVERYTHING!!! (GCW).

On Dingoo A320, "Gama" have made a cool utility called Oldplay who can run all kind of musics. (MP3/Ogg/Flac and all Chiptunes from Amiga/C64/Consoles)
Maybe an opendingux version will come soon on Zero.

I've used Oldplay and I like its capabilities, but don't really like the interface that much. Also it doesn't play video (gotta switch back to dingoo native for that because MPlayer is so bad).

I didn't realize how huge the console is until seeing it in that video! Wow, my meaty paws will actually be able to comfortably hold the thing. My A320 is a bit on the small side, but this one looks like it's going to be much, much more comfortable to hold.

any idea what cables/accessories will be bundled with GCW-0 SE's?  If any?

-storage case
-hdmi out
-video out
-headphones
-usb charger
-ac charger
-car charger
-adapters
-screen protectors

Just like to know so I could shop for whatever else I will need.  I do plan on gifting units and would like plan ahead.    :)

I prefer to use an utility for music and an other one for video...
(when you do everything at same time, you do it wrong :) )
