The community is already split in two, sometimes Openpandora even gets updates before this site does.

I say again, if I was a n00b to the scene and was looking for a forum, then dingoonity and openpandora would make me feel like I arrived at the wrong site. Openhandhelds (or, again, just create our own site) would at least feel more comforting, and maybe it would have a chance of consolidating users from openpandora and dingoonity. In the end, history will decide the winner, I'm at least willing to try posting on openhandhelds, but if both sides choose to stay on dingoonity and openpandora, then that's that.
WRONG@ Justin IS updating openpandora for some reason BEFORE here...  I've NEVER figured out why.. he didn't sell openpandora AFAIK, and they have LITTLE else in common with us beyond that..

OTOH maybe he thinks that if they're happy waiting FOREVAR AND paying egregious amounts of cash that they'd be happier buying the zero.. dunno... seems to me like that line of thought is a phail...

BTW: OFFTOPIC again TRIPLE CROWN BABY! MVP! MVP! MVP!

[EDIT]
@qbert
WTF's your thread about emus? (or are you just waiting for a new set of subforums for the zero? (which is wise since it saves marshalling moving all the zero threads to their new home...)

[OFFTOPIC]
IF miggy doesn't get MVP, it's just BS, he's carried this team, and Trouty baby couldn't manage to carry his team to actual outright playoff spot... sad... and 45y since last triple crown FFS!
[/OFFTOPIC]

I am fine with staying here. I do feel we need a dedicated section sooner than later. 110+ pages and shipping this month. The time for a ZERO section is past due.

I am not sure why time is spent on open Pandora at all now. It was a good place to advertise but as soon as the ZERO ships I won't be visiting any longer.

A link to the forums here from the main site would help maintain community coherency in the future. If this is where the devs are, I am not going anywhere.

It's not a matter of choice I can't get out from my work to dingoonity during the day and using a proxy would just get me in trouble. Until this thing really takes off I'm kinda stuck doint the best I can

damnit! we NEED our our own set of sub-fora just like open-dingux!

BTW TRIPLE CROWN! MVP MVP MVP!

..oh heh heh he...

[EDIT]
I just wish that I had $100s left to buy playoff tickets, sadly I don't.. although I'm not to unhappy as comerica park is crap v. navin field, and it was egregious that the national historic park was demolished in favor of comerica park, especially given teh continued existence of fenway park ffs!

After looking up the requirements for the triple crown I can understand how impressive it is. Nice.

I was digging through my bits box and found my mini usb otg cable and my mini hdmi adapter today. I am looking forward to testing them out and putting the Zero through it's paces.

The GCW Zero should get own boards or visible sub-boards from a business point of as well as for the user.

I, as a new user, would never have found the thread here or understood this long post here. it would rather scare me away and let me confused. (the blog of the gcw maker is bad as well, btw).
also i visited the open pandora boards frequently and i overlooked the gcw zero thread for half a year..

when i knew nothing about open handhelds the pandora got mentioned in a post on gog, i looked it up and felt in love, became to know the open community. but i would never have found or understood it when i just would have found a long page in a (very big and) confusing forum or ther blog of the maker.

the gcw zero is the future for the next years to come in open gaming. it needs and it deserves a good place, here or somewhere else. i think the zero should have his own board, his own site, as the dingoo had. but as it is also a community thing it may remains here and gets some subboards here. but dont burry them down under, they should more like be the first on the page as they are the future and will dominate the open gaming scene worldwide in time to come.

if open gaming should become better known, homebrew accepted and the gcw zero a success it needs proper exposure and community features. and the community should help, not be jealous.

Different sites are unnecessary, as the community was built around this forum and it is a bad idea to split it into pieces.
Dingux was born here, so the best should be to stay here and open a new subforum for the GCW Zero (which is a Dingux console).

i would say as well it may is the best the english/international (unofficial) gcw zero boards remain here, just not burried deep below but with some exposure for the fresh wind and future this new open handheld is.

there should be a rule on dingoonity whereby if a thread goes over 100 pages then it should get its own subforum :).

I got alittle side tracked with day job which in turn then turned into a day and night job due to emergencies at work so 15 hour days gotta love them NOT. But alas there will be more refunds unless Paypal takes heed I forwarded the URL to them hopefully but doubtful they will pay attention. I will work out some type of arrangement with ED for those who absolutely can't pay with Google Checkout

just as info, and as explanation (i feel so free to quote the post from elwingthere:

as I understood it's not paypal who do the refund, they just "blocked" the money from the transaction and GCW can only refund the money, and as he told us he hadn't the time to finish all refund... I hope you won't be refunded but I'm afraid you may

I dont understand why zhe GCW Zero is not given already and since month an own board among the other alternative consoles at least. It is a thing of a minute to create another forum in the dashboard, and to move this thread there. or is it because it is not released yet? bit like paypal? hehe  : P

for snes:

seiken densetsu 3 [english translated] [get a savestate for later in the game to demo a multi sprite boss and use graphical intensive magic/special attacks, and some mode 7 on the flying on the white fluffy dragon]

star ocean [specificly the opening intro and battle sequences, and a bit of running around in the world area]

also the opening intro song of tales of phantasia [you turn the game on and dont press any buttons, and an intro with a full voice j-pop song will play, that part was always super slow and filled with a ton of sound glitches on the psp's most optimized snes emulator.

other than those specific things i have no other real requests, if the gcw can handle those perfectly, im pretty sure it can handle anything

edit: if you cant include all those tests in your video, i would be equaly apreciative of a report on how all those tests went, thanks quberaddict for providing us with all the footage btw, makes us all smiley and stuff 8D
Ok for all of these rpgs does anyone have save states for the parts they want demoed? These videos will be 900 minutes long. If I have to go through the intros just to get to gameplay
