Excellent review! Thanks for mentioning the scene efforts :)
And I really enjoyed that someone finally showed something else than emulators ;)

Hey Thanks!

I really think the community is really one of the best parts of the zero. In fact, I think anyone who gets one isn't getting the complete experience until they check out the scene ;)

I love the emulators on the zero, but I spend most of my time playing the native games, and I think that is the most interesting portion of the system, as I said, I've played things I never would have tried thanks to the zero. :)

Oh than got that covered too in the hardware review I did in July, 1 page back :P

We do need more review vids of the hardware highlighting the games though :D

That's a really nice review, thanks!
Do you maybe plan to make a follow up video showing some software in action?

Hi there, yes I certainly plan on following it up, however, I don't wish to show the GCW as a glorified emulation system. I am waiting for more homebrew games and software specifically designed for the Zero before I follow it up as I believe that it is a stellar device with so much potential and capability. I can't wait for all the features to be implemented!  ;D ;D ;D

There's 45 native games in the repository at the moment and a couple more awaiting moderation. How many more do you need before it's enough for a video? ;)

I know that, I mean something that really pushes the hardware beyond what Neverball does. Don't get me wrong, I love what progress has been made already and I am going to make a video on that very soon (after I have finished my video for Activision, so probably tomorrow night). I just wish I could show off the rumble feature, hdmi, mic and all of the other features. Also hoping that someday we may see an app store for the GCW!

Well there is Ziz's OPK Manager, which is basically an app store of sorts.
You can access the full repo and Ziz's repo with it and download straight to your device.
