Request: Music Maker
« on: September 20, 2014, 01:41:23 am »
Hi.
I like to make music with programs like GarageBand, FL Studio,

I would like to know how hard it would be to make a simple program that lets you make music.
Thanks. -Kick

I don't know of any good music software that would be port-able to the Zero, but you may want to have a look at LSDJ.

LSDJ is a "tracker" for creating chiptune music that runs on the Nintendo Game Boy. It's used by tons of chiptune musicians and there's a lot of materials out there on how to use it. Since I don't have a Game Boy flash card, I've tried running it in OhBoy on the Zero and it works well! You'll probably want to use headphones though.

Hi,

I was trying to build an audio recorder and player. It's working so so, but it's unfinished. I need more time to take a look at it.

You can find the code here: https://github.com/alexandrevicenzi/gcw_mic
