Hi,

You need to have the .dge file and the other files which were included in the same folder. I think there were four files in total.

pocketsnes.dge
pocketsnes_bar
pocketsnes_header
pocketsnes_tile

Ayla,

Great release!!! One question... is anyone planning on porting over the Snes9x4D version to OpenDingux anytime soon? The reason I ask is that a few RPG's & its script text are only displayed properly within this emulator... such as Secret of Mana 2 for example.

Thanks again.

Did you know "porting" means that the source code must be available? I'm not aware of SiENcE having released it:

Shame, coz it was the only Snes emu supporting cheats, and it doesn't work in OD (see my compatibility list in page 2 of this thread).

The emu looks very nice! It really needs fullscreen and some wise guy's scaler and we are all set.

I have experienced some ugly noises when playing F-Zero or Mario Kart. Also the colors look weird on the menus and the games themselves. But hopefully that can be fixed. How can I help out with that effort?

Great job Ayla, as usual :)

It's because Snes9x have his own license so Sience was not obligated to release the source but i believe he will release them if you ask nicely :)

If you reduce sound quality 22050 and mono, mario kart runs at a very playable frame rate. This is really impressive stuff. Even better is Secret of mana is perfect. Thanks!!

Not sure if I should post this here, or on the Open Dingux page, but everytime I launch a game now with Open Dingux, and PocketSNES, I don't get any in-game noise, just a painful static sound. Any thoughts?

in the menu settings is a sound manager - Sound Mixer. Run it and the arrow up / down to expose the value of a master to a maximum, then side arrow to move right there will be an element of SoftMast (he goes after the Output M so that hidden behind the screen), put its value at the maximum and the sound always work.Sorry for my English.

This ROCKS!

The only thing I was going back to native for was pocketsnes - because the sound works better (snes9x for example always had out of sync sound in some games like cannon fodder). Now the sound is perfect!

Now I just need to install the bootloader that defaults to dingux!
