Changes
- Changed Midlet Suite Manager to display larger Midlet icons
- Force quit by using Start + Select + R
- Add a flag to use Nokia E61 style keypad (key '5' is mapped to 'g')
- Fixed a bug in image rotation causing graphics corruption
- Other fixes

Nice release. I'll test it tomorrow. I'll try to rerun some games that ran with glitches with the previous release. Thanks rookie.

I would really love to try this out but I'm not getting anywhere...  :-[

I've but the midpath folder in /local but I'm having trouble creating a .dge file for it. I've tried but all I get is a black screen and Dingux seems to freeze. I'm pretty new to the Dingoo world and gmenu2x. Can someone help me out please ?

Can I use Wordpad to create a .dge file or do I need something else? And what exactly needs to be in the Midpath .dge file?

Hi, Hit select and choose 1st option add link, then find in the midpath folder the suitmanager file and pick that one.

That should do the trick.

Thanks, I followed your instructions.

I do now get a white screen with a loading bar. It goes up to 10% and the returns to gmenu2x.   ???

I also use in Gmenu2X .everything runs fine. I suggest you install once more.Or your Gmenu2X's problem?

Tried a re-install of midpath 0.3, too. The problem is still the same. What could be wrong with gmenu2x? I've encountered no problems with other games, apps and emulators.

Remove all the .jad files from ./midlets directory and it will launch. Midpath freezes on loading screen when something's wrong with one of the jads.

Also need to put the midpath in /local not in apps

Thanks a lot, that helped!   :D

Any recommendations which games run good?

I'm sure this is a really stupid question, but does Midpath REQUIRE Dingux in order to work?  IF not, how do I actuallr run the program after putting the midpath folder in the root directory?  I tried using the file browser, but it seems thats purely for browsing and moving/deleting files.

Thants for helping this Dingoo noob. :)

Of course it requires dingux, like 95% of stuff for dingoo :)

Ok... new question.  Does it NEED to require Dingux, or could it be made to run on an out of the box Dingoo?

I want to make games for Dingoo... my only option currently is via creating j2me games.  I'd much prefer it if EVERY Dingoo owner can play my games, even the Dingoo owners who dont want to install Dingux.

Is this a simple matter, or would MidPath need to be totally redone to work without Dingux?

thanks

Would have to be totally redone I believe. All the libs it uses (among them SDL) would have to be ported to the default os.
But most of the people who own a dingoo install dingux on it anyway, because that's where the homebrew developement is.

Hello ! I want to use thi bookreader (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6355171/midlets/Horizontal.jar), but it shows folders in root like files and I can't open it. Also. if I put books to flash card root it doesn't see that files, only folders like files. Where I must to put the files to open with bookreader?
