Hello Folks,

This is z_man with Gmenu2x local pack.  I have included Games, Emulators, Ports and Apps with it.  Everything is mapped properly even the icons.  I hope you all will enjoy it and please leave your comments.

How to load:

1. Backup your roms or games

2. Format your SD Card with FAT32 (Recomended)

3. Download the Gmenu2x Nuke 0.1 from below:

http://www.adrive.com/public/768c7d691b1178db76be6003265dd47334fc538469989da1b142f5d4525a18a1.html

4. Extract the Gmenu2x.zip file on your desktop

3. Copy them into your sdcard (root of your sdcard)

5. Rename the zImage_poff_9331 OR zImage_poff_9325 file (Depending upon your LCD Controller of your Dingoo)

6. Unplug your dingoo and reboot to DINGUX. Smiley

NOTE: Please login to dingoonity to view my screen shots.

All the CREDIT goes to those folks who have designed these icons.  I do not take any credits for them and I like to thank them for their AWESOME work.  Thank you very much.

Can't get any lazier than to use a gmenu2x pack.

Not harping on you zman just dont see the point in this at all.

It took me five minutes yesterday to switch from dmenu to gmenu and i didnt even use the scan applications.

All im saying is if you use this please just read the readme's and get to know your dingoo instead of taking the super easy way out.

I'd say a very basic pack will help new users get into dingux. But with gmenu2x they don't need to be as bloated and regularly refreshed like before.

Instead of local packs, we should now concentrate on complete icon-sets. Maybe even create a standard name-system and directory-structure for those, so they might be exchanged without problems.

I am a little confused with peoples response to this...  Why would you have an issue with this local pack.  This is a brilliant pack for all of those who don't know the true ins and outs of the Dingoo. And someone has actually gone and done the hard work for us all.

I say... BRILLIANT STUFF!!..  I actually went out yesterday and bought another 4gb Micro SD just so I could use this pack as a stand alone OS.

Although I have one problem... I for the life of me cannot work out where the calculator icon is suposed to go and what is the .png supposed to be named as?

Why would you have an issue with this local pack.

it's not with a certain pack, it's the concept, but it's only a few of us that think that way, so feel free to ignore it Cheesy
