Commander Genius release #2

Here goes a new update to Commander Genius.






Download:
* mirror 1: SourceForge
* mirror 2: OpenHandhelds archive

The game comes without a HQP (High Quality Pack). If you want to have updated graphics (check screenshots) and music support, you can download HQP separately from the project's website.

Changelog:
* shorter loading time
* added nice loading screen
* improved the hq sound quality
* can now type save state/high score entry with d-pad
* new threadpool which is used by the loading screen
* now the game shouldn't crash when playing music
* improved Vorticon physics
* minor bug fixes

Thanks! It seems to boot faster than your previous release as well. Or maybe it's just the progress bar which does not make me wonders if it hanged ;D
Since the resolution is 320x200, is there any advantage in using the HQ pack at all?

Yep, loading times are A LOT faster now. Just as I mentioned in the changelog ;)

Yep. All the tiles are refurbished. Just compare the screenshots in this thread with the original DOS Keen ones.
