running pulstar on fba

Hi guys,

I try to run pulstar on fba320 emulator since it looks weird on the native neogeo emulator (the textures seems to be mixed up).

I createt a pulstar.fba datei with fbacher.exe and toggled cache mode in the beginning (when starting the game), since it's too big for ram when in zip format. According to the FBA320 Combatibilty list on this forum it should work. However after some loading the screen goes black and nothing.

BTW my pulstar.zip is about 18mb and my pulstar.fba is about 46mb

Is there anything i missed out?

Any help would be appreciatet

Did you get any errors when you created pulstar.fba? Did you have the neogeo bios file in the same directory as the zip file?

Pulstar runs great on fba, I converted it to the fba format, my rom is 46 MB, my guess is, you aren't using an outdated Pulstar romset, look for an actual set.

Actually I got it to run on native neo geo emulator with the preconverted neo geo pack. It must have been the romset, since sprites where mixed up on native emulator.
