ON/OFF Switch

Kalisiin:
Is anyone working on a way to make the normal power switch work when booted up in the dingux firmware?

That's my one and only beef, is that you gotta poke that tiny little hole with a paper clip or something to turn the power off when you are booted up in Dingux...would be so much nicer if the power switch worked.

I thought I read something about this somewhere, once, but can't seem to find any reference to it anymore, and I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about this.

did someone come up with a way to make the normal power switch work when booted up in Dingux?

Natrox:
Not at the moment. But you can always press START + SELECT + Power ON , this resets the Dingoo as well when in Dingux, and then you can power off in the native firmware.

I'll have to try that.
I always just used the little reset button you have to poke with a paper clip...sorta a pain in the rump when you don't happen to have a paper clip handy.

I got annoyed by that instantly, so I applied the screw the pinhole reset!-mod. :P

Very nice if you're a handyman.  Me...seeing as I am a smoker...I just carry a paper clip at all times, stuffed into my box of cigarettes.

Another tip...you can carry a lot of small items in an empty prescription bottle (this tends to be more useful for a girl, because you can put small earrings, etc, in there...and you can carry a paper clip in that...and put it in your purse...or if you're a guy, you can also carry such a little bottle in your pocket.  At least that way you always have a switch available.
