UAE4ALL for dingux Preview
February 6, 2010

Chui has released UAE4ALL(an Amiga emulator) for Dingux!

Quote
I just adapt UAE4ALL for Dingux and I think that works fine but needs overclocking. I suppose that it could have some bugs because it is the first pre-release.

Question: is the list provided the only games supported...or just the only ones tested?

Quite a few games are working for me. Ones that aren't shown in the screenshots.

Good.  Because I'm looking for Buggy Boy.  Which wasn't listed.

Neat, thanks chui, I'll have to try Pinball Fantasies! Grin
Quick question. since it says "Amiga 500 emulator", I'll take it we're supposed to use the kickstart v1.3?
Here is an icon in the meantime:

Any chance to allow key mapping? I wasn't able to play Pinball Fantasies at all, and Rick Dangerous 2 wouldn't let me go past the trainer menu, even though I tried every key on the virtual keyboard Sad
Also, the menu says Dreamcast instead of Dingoo on the exit option  Wink

The trainer menus were mostly used with the mouse, so weīll have to wait for those games.  Or play honestly... Grin

Awesome for a first release, thank you so much Chui! Canīt wait to play the Settlers on the go!  Cheesy

I cannot get it to work.  Cry I used the kickstart file (1.3) from my Amiga Forever 2009 (legally purchased) and renamed it to "kick.rom" and even copied the "rom.key" to be safe, but when I try to load a game nothing happens. The disk "leds" are green but stays at "00".

Tried Pirates!, Stunt Car Racers and the demo State of the Art by Spaceballs.

edit: Well... The "good girl" way did not work, so I set sail for a certain bay, and now I am playing Stunt Car Racer. Smiley

Hmm, i donīt know if uae4all supports encrypted kickstarts... My pirated one works fine.  Grin
State of the Art runs, but slow. Fullspeed without sound... @ 430 mhz.

Think I found what I was looking for.  Found a version of kickstart 3.1 - does one also need a workbench file for this program to work.  I'll never tell where I got the files, let's just say that google and patience are your friends.

You need the Kickstart of an early Amiga (like A500/1000), i.e. 1.3 or 2.0
3.1 is for newer Amigas like A1200 with AGA chipset, which is not (yet?  Hey let me dream... Grin) supported by uae4all.
Oh and you donīt need Workbench for games.

Mod edit: Don't post links to copyrighted files.

Instead, here - http://ale.emuunlim.com/guides/get-kick-rom.shtml

apologies omgmog - forgot that the kick-roms are still coprighted   Embarrassed
Pretty silly of Amiga, since I have an Amiga 500 and A1200, and it's not like you can go down to your local shops and buy a new 'miggy, but rules are rules, apologies again!
