With regard the screwed up files...

Why not just format the SD card, copy the files back, and spare us all the drama?

Because I don't WANT to format.  I want someone to perhaps tell me how I can make them just go away.

They say you can't take it with you, but, if I can't bring my Dingoo, I don't wanna go.

Maybe you get the errors, because your SD is corrupted, what happens now and then in dingux, due to a bug?
more offtopic -.-
Sometimes you HAVE TO format.  Tongue

Did you do a scan disk on the SD card in windows? If not google it if you don't know how

I am really LOVING MAME on my Dingoo....
Quick question. I am still new to dingux and editing any configs. One of my favorite games is Space Duel and each time I load the game I have to configure the keys in order to make it properly accept a coin and select one or 2 players to start. Is there a way to edit this in such a manner as to allow key bindings to stay as I put them?

Please share your key config! I spent a fortune on Space Duel in college and have been trying to get it working on my Dingoo. Rather than attempt a key config (cuz I'd read that it didn't actually work), I just kept pressing key combination 'til I gave up. :p

Same thing for Space Wars.

I guess the keys are reconfigurable... but it just doesn't save the settings.

After being off the radar for several months, Slaanesh has finally made a comeback with the release of MAME4ALL 1.2 for Dingux. (Please allow up to 24 hours for the Openhandheld mirror to update)

Here are the notes from the changelog
Quote
Monday, November 30, 2009
  - Added A320 screen brightness option to frontend.
- Fixed bug with games containing multiple FM sound systems. Was allocating two identical FM tables and segmentation faulting when on exit (trying to free the same table of memory twice). This stops some games crashing on exit.
- More speed and smaller executable. Perhaps some of the larger games may run now?

Original post by Slaanesh can be found here: http://www.slaanesh.net/2009/11/mame4all-dingux-v12.html
