gpsp for DinguxFebruary 5th, 2010 Well it was only a matter of time...GPSP for Dingux! It's not perfect but its a start and the source code is available! Note: You will need the GBA bios for this emu. Information about the bios needed can be found here: http://wiki.gp2x.org/wiki/GpSP#GBA_Biosgpsp for dingux ( slow )

whoever boukichi is, i like him/her a lot will see how he/she solved the problem i was having doing this edit: here's what google translate says for that: Why C is rather slow and the language or because He'll use the CPU. Start getting and Dainamikkurikonpaira, PSP is the only instruction was not replaced or, Linux I need to clear your cache, Linux programs are normally not privileged from cache instruction cache that can not be used. Color might be different if the ideas to work .... so it looks like it's done without a mips core maybe, or the dynamic recompilation is disabled

It's a GBA emulator folks.
(Not everyone is aware of what this program does.)

Has anyone tested if Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green etc are playable with 420 overclocking? (My Dingux crashes if it goes any higher)

Just tried Sonic Advance 3. 12fps ingame with a frameskip of 4 and CPU overclocked to 400 MHz on Elta's rootfs and the RTC kernel. I'm sure there's lots of room for improvement, just needs some time and more coders

Just tried Pokemon firered and it gives a white screen, just like the native emulator. I read itīs because of Pokemonīs way of saving and that you have to switch some setting in the emulator, unfortunately there is no such option (yet). But there is a rom patcher somewhere that should solve the problem iirc.

Thanks dude, just one more thing though, exactly how slow is it? I mean, is it playable? (On slower games, rpgs etc) I'm just about to install now, just curious if it's worth doing...

Pokemon Fire Red runs just fine for me. Maybe you use an older GBA bios?

Hmm weird, tried both the german and the european 1.1, which is fricking huge (16 MB instead of the 3 MB german one). And various bios files. Just played Castlevania btw, quite playable at higher frameskips. Promising.

It stands for "game play SP" and was originally released on the psp. The name is fine Why would he change the name because people are too lazy to type gpsp into google or read the post that says gba bios required

No. Because someone might think it was a PSP or a PlayStation emu. Just sayin'... Because when I saw this, that was what I, at first, thought.
