it's set the screen resolution to 640x480, poke around in the config file (either in the eduke directory, or home./eduke or something like that)
(or even zear hardcoded the res and somehow did it wrong Cheesy but that's unlikely)

Did you actually read the README?
It says clearly you have to copy the config file to your ~/.eduke32/eduke32.cfg Tongue

I did actually read the README.
It did put the file on the folder.
I simply don't know what should be the config, but i didn't tried change settings though.
here's the config (the default config)

[Screen Setup]
ScreenMode = 1
ScreenWidth = 320
ScreenHeight = 240
Shadows = 1
Password = ""
Detail = 1
Tilt = 1
Messages = 1
Out = 0
ScreenSize = 8
ScreenGamma = 16
AmbientLight = "1.00"
MaxFPS = 0
OSDHightile = 0
OSDTextMode = 1
ScreenBPP = 8
VidBrightness = "0.00"
VidContrast = "1.00"
VidGamma = "1.00"

if all the dingoos have the same screen size, it would be good if the config file was properly set in the pack!

That's the config included to the eduke32 pack, or the one you have in /boot/local/home/.eduke32/eduke32.cfg?

I had the same problem (if you read the log, you'll see that eduke32 runs in 1024x768 by default) until I RTFM and copied the unaltered .CFG file provided into the local/home/.eduke32 folder.
Everything works great, so thanks a lot zear!

"3) Place eduke32.cfg config file to the ~/.eduke32 directory"

but i SWEAR, i did RTFM twice before!
now it is working!
sorry, thanks & congrats to zear!
