Same thing here, this emu, even overclocked, feels slower than the default one.

If you are not interested in a perfect compatibility and advanced features, you can use the default emulator.

Please don't get me wrong, you are doing a great job and just having the same interface for all emus is a big plus. It's just that I am pointing out the differences I found with the other emulator I could compare with.

Apart for the speed issue, your work is superior in all aspects to what we had before, so you should be happy :)
