I think it's the AV-out connector. I already had to solder mine back on the board.  ???

Custom firmware version 2.03.00 is available for download.


This custom firmware has support for a new SEGA Master System and SEGA Game Gear emulator build by d_smagin. The emulator isn't the final version but it already runs very good in both native RES and Streched FS mode. An Aspect FS mode is going to be added later.


Enjoy and don't forget to download the updated emulator pack.

Not yet. Maybe later.

The emulators build by d_smagin are actually for the Ritmix RZX-50 so I think that the SEGA Master System and SEGA Game Gear emulator are more important for him.

Not possible. Like every open-source game or emulator you can't use them with av-out on the big screen.

What can be done is make a new menu "SDL Emulators" for all the new emulators.

four major emulators (gba, neogeo_cps, super nintendo, genesis) are there without alternatives... everybody know about gba emu, cant play all games.. neogeo, snes, md also have some drawbacks..

Testing the new SEGA Mega Drive emulator from d_smagin for the new custom firmware version and it's very good for a first test version. Running at 55-60fps fullscreen with the game Comix Zone.  8)

I also had to resolder one of the speakers. It wasn't because I opened the consele but because I was so stupid to drop it without the screws on the back.  ;D

wow...  so the new custom firmware (V2.04.00) is going to rock..... 8)
  i hope this will go upto v2.10.00 with a lot more good emulators before the gcw zero arrived for general purchase... why because after getting a gcw zero, no one cares the a380...
