Title: Dingoo A380 vs. A320E
Post by: TheUltimateMan on February 29, 2012, 09:18:52 pm
So we all know what the A320 and A380 can do... but I'm wondering how the A320E compares?

From looking at this comparison sheet:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkPJuV-UtMLRdGNRZlRjTGNUVGhqRTNZT1dkaEN1dVE#gid=0

I can see that the A380 and A320E are the same size with identical hardware EXCEPT:

A380 has Multiplayer/Netplay, G-Sensor, and Vibration.  The A320E does not.

I'm guessing that means that both units run identically, except that you can not play two player games with two A320Es, and that the A380 wireless controllers won't work for the A320E either.

-My question is do both the A320E and A380 run on the same firmware (since they are identical in every other way)?

-Will the new custom firmware updates for the A380 work on the A320E?

-Does the A320E have an internal SD card like the A380?

If anyone knows I would greatly appreciate a response, thank you very much!

I think that the Dingoo A320E also uses Dingux as firmware and when it's exactly the same as the A380 firmware it won't be possible to use the A380 custom firmware updates or you should have to find a way to write the image to the internal chip becuase it doesn't have an internal MicroSD.

I think that the Dingoo A380 is the better choice.
