Wow! A new versi?n of FBA. This one works in dingoo a320? Or is only for a380?

It's for the Dingoo A-380 with CFW. This version has Virtual Memory enabled to make it possible to load every game on the Dingoo A-380.

@d_smagin

Maybe it's better to have an option in the menu to enable/disable Virtual Memory. With this option everyone can use the latest version without the need to compile more than one version.

There's a command key for fbasdl.dge to enable internal virtual memory: --use-swap
I assume you're running fbasdl.dge via a script anyway, so adding this key is a must for all legacy dinguxes. Adding this option to a menu is very ambiguous, since fba can't realloc all memory from virtual to normal and vice-versa on the fly.

You're right. I forgot about the --use-swap command. It's something to fix in the CFW.

SDL Emulators - SEGA Mega Drive:

Graphical glitches with the game Another World can be fixed with enabling Accurate Timing. The game still runs at 50fps (full speed).  :)

Looking good but the link to the new Atari 7800 game Armor Attack is wrong. You added the link for UAE4All.  ;D

The old MAME4All download link doesn't work anymore and can be replaced with the new V1.1 link. Dingux-np2 is no longer available for download but I added the link to the source code. I can't seem to make a good port of it but maybe someone else is more lucky than me with it.  :(

The DOSBox 0.37 Alpha Test Version link also doesn't work anymore but I added it to the emulator pack with the MAME4All V1.1 and new UAE4All version.

Which MAME version the Dingoo A380 runs? I'm looking for an affordable portable console which runs more recent MAME versions than those extremely outdated MAME4all/MAME4droid ports. I just want to play MAME games.

Get an RS-97 - it's your best bet!
I would recommend the one with 320x480 screen.
That's what I've got and it's what I will be releasing for shortly - dependent on RetroFirmware 2.0.

I agree with you Slaanesh. I ordered a Powkiddy Q9 RS-97 Plus console (it's supposed to have a 320x240 60Hz screen).

The real Dingoo A-380 isn't available anymore for a very long time and you probably never going to find a second hand one available too. At least I won't sell mine. ;D

Yes, I did. It's an improvement compared to the Dingoo A-380.

I like the faster CPU and more RAM. I also like it that you don't need to open the console anymore to remove the internal MiceoSD card. The d-pad and buttons work well and the L and R shoulder buttons are much better compared to thje Dingoo A-380.

I've got RetroFW installed on a Samsung EVO Plus 256GB SDXC MicroSD card. I can get it to run stable overclocked to 648MHz and as low as 200MHz to suspend the console.

Most of the games and emus run much smoother because of the faster CPU and more RAM. Not everything seems to run just fine. Intellivision emu is broken, Chocolate DOOM seems a step backwards compared to PrBoom (doesn't run total conversions so it's very limited), Wolf3D runs only the shareware version. ScummVM is outdated. ReGBA support is broken. No MidPath emu (it strange that nobody seems to care for this as this does run some nice games).

But I wanted to buy it to run MAME, FBA and Atari Lynx and it does that much better than the Dingoo A-380.  :)

I have MAME4ALL 2.0; waiting for RetroFW 2.0 as it relies on the new IPU support :)
