    This is idingoo Forum, we konw dingoo Official Firmware Release V1.6 at 2010.06.22,Welcome to idingoo Forum to download.

What are the differences in the new firmware? As your picture shows, the menu looks different, are there more changes? Which languages does it contain?

According to the posting in the Chinese BBS, the menu improved. For example, when choosing a game, it's said to be possible to show a preview picture

But they also say it is a pre-release especially for the idingoo forum and contains bugs. The thread-starter states he already switched back to the V1.2. So IMHO it's better to wait a litte more.

Edit: OK, I just took a shot, upgraded to 1.6: I played around a few minutes and noticed the following changes:

-you can now choose to display games in "Directory" mode (like before) or all games in one list
-preview screens: If you started a game once already, there will be a (random?) preview screen  in the menu the next time
-you can protect the internal memory and turn off the speakers  in options-menu (not sure if it was possible before though, hehe)
-movie player pauses play with Y (i think that's new)

now the question is, is this dingoo digital that's releasing it? or dingoo tech? flamewar time!!!  ;D

(reckon they listened to peoples comments on the old firmwares and actually corected problems? or just 'improved' it so it seems better but really isn't)

Tried it, the preview screens are a nice touch.

Mine freezes on updating the jukebox which makes it useless. Not only can I not see any games every time I plug into USB & disconnect it freezes.

Bit of a shame cos the previews look v nice, will wait & see if bugs are ironed out.

Both links still work fine for me though...

but as Frank_fjs already said, note really usable right now...

BTW, in the Chinese board, they are also providing new emulators for use with the new firmware V1.6. I tried them, but at least GBA and SNES are still V 1.0 and I noticed no changes at all.

Note that this new firmware with modified features (not only a new skin) comes from Dingoo Digital (original and genuine Dingoos), and NOT from Dingoo Technology (counterfeit A330 Dingoos). Check the screenshot of the About-screen (dingoo.cn is the official site of Dingoo Digital, whilst the fake company uses dingoo.hk).

This shows (yet again), that Dingoo Digital are the original and genuine Dingoo makers, because they have access to the source code of the operating system. Dingoo Technology are counterfeiters, pure and simple, the only thing that changed when they released their A330, was the theme, which anyone can change at will.

Dingoo Tech merely cashed in on the marketing & product branding/awareness of the A320 created by Dingoo Digital.

The A330 is a bootlegged knock-off who's only resemblance to the A320 is a similar sounding name & stolen software/hardware - yet it's HIGHER PRICED.

Dingoo Tech are also primarily responsible for the lower quality "HK" A320's - I have no love for them obviously.
