« on: December 21, 2009, 07:05:34 PM »
Hello,
Here is a little puzzle game named HexaVirus.
You can find it in the dingoo digital website, because it's an  entry for its compo.

http://www.dingoo-digital.com/forums/developers-corner/calling-all-native-os-developers-its-contest-time?page=5#comment-6423

All information are in the readme file shipped with the zip file.

Nice one, Alek!!  It took me a couple plays to "get it" to learn what the strategy was...then I got it.  got down to where it was only giving me 31 moves to try to get it done, and I missed that level by one virus!!

This one is sincerely a lot of fun...then again, I LIKE puzzle-type games that make you THINK.
If all dogs do not go to Heaven, then, when I die, I want to go where THEY went.

They say you can't take it with you, but, if I can't bring my Dingoo, I don't wanna go.

Silence, darfgarf!!  Just about ANYTHING with the "alekmaul" label on it is usually excellent!!

Basically, in short, if it says "alekmaul" on the label, chances are good that it pisses excellence!

Thanks for the great game - it was keeping us all busy here last night.

I have a few suggestions for enhancements:

1) Keep a count of the number of Hexa's cleared each pass and award bonus points for clearing 10, 15, 25 at a time. This would bring a different strategy to the game.

2) Add a high score table for total score and max cleared in one colour choose.

3) If the player clears each game with either 0 or 1 goes left then after 3 games like this start introducing 'clear'/non coloured hexa to make it harder (I'm evil   ;D )

Nice, this game was not what I was expecting and is more fun than it looks now that I have time to play. ;D
