SD card no longer recognized by Dingoo

Hi guys,
Hoping someone can help me out with this. I'm using a micro SD card in a mini SD adapter. Size is 8Gb.
This card used to work fine until I tried to install Dingux on it. I read you first need to reformat the SD card in FAT32 format. I did just that (on Vista) but when rebooting the Dingoo Dingux froze on the Dingux splash screen. I then rebooted into native Dingoo but found that upon accessing the SD card, I got the message "No File Found!". The card and its contents still work fine in Vista/Win2k though.
I tried everything I could think of after that. I used the Panasonic formatting tool which didn't change anything. I formatted to FAT32 with 32kb allocation unit size which didn't change anything either. I tried formatting the card on a Win2k machine but that didn't change anything either.
Can someone please tell me how to resolve this issue? I would be eternally grateful!
Thanks.

You tried format the SD directly in PC???(without use the dingoo, but using a usb-adapter or sd entrance)
Some errors happen cause the dingoo-usb-mode is not so reliable to format.

Thanks for the reply and yes, I did try that, both in Vista and in Win2k but to no avail, I'm afraid...

and did you remove all teh partitions, make a single fat32 partition, and format at 16k (might be 32k) blocksize, those settings seem to work pretty well for everyone so far

Thanks. I didn't format at 16kb but I did at 32kb, yes. No other partitions on the card.
Is it worth a shot formatting it again at 16kb?
