Relationship between Emulators and Roms/Game Files?

(1/1)

quddusaliquddus:
Hi :),
I wanted to know where to put emulators files on an SD Card or Dingoo? Also where to put the roms/game files in the Dingoo or SD Card? Also - will the game files run automatically from the emulators? Or do I somehow run the games and the emulators will launch? Im a little confused. If someone could point me to an article that explains this or explain it themselves then I would be appreciate it.

Thank You!

emrextreme:
Emulators should be copied in the game folder on dingoo itself. Roms can be copied anywhere you want, dingoo or sd card. You don't run the emulators, you select the game and it starts. It's that simple.

Hi Thanks again for the info. I just have one last question - do i do the same for dingux emulators and games?

atari_afternoon:
Hi. :)
Dingux can access only the SD card IIRC, so everything has to be on there then.
On the Dingux GUI, you create icons for each emulator like you would on your PC and then start them and then look for the correct folder ONCE in each emulator and then save this setting.

(^^Most basic guide; reading the readme´s won´t hurt though ;) )

zear:
OpenDingux can also access nand for read only.
