Plastic pads
« on: May 07, 2012, 10:02:14 PM »
Hi
I have a slight problem with my dingoo D-pad. The D-pad reacts correctly but the UP part of it just does not "click" (it does not  have any force pusning it back like all the oters...)
I think it is caused by badly made plastic pad under the D-pad if you know what i mean ...
Does anyone has this part for sale ? (from broken dingoo mabye ?)
Thanks Smida3

So it's just the little rubber pressure pads you need?

I have a broken PC controller I could get one from if you like, no idea if it'll fit but it's no good to me.
I only kept the controller so my little girl can play with it, keeps her away from my XBox pads!

Alternately it might be an opportunity to stick a better Dpad in there, the Wii Classic controller ones are a little bigger, the Wiimote ones are a little smaller. The knock off ones from HK/China are only a few £ on eBay.
Handhelds:
JXD S7300b, Dingoo, DS Lite, GBA SP, PSP, HTC One X, HTC Dream.
Netbooks/Palmtops:
Acer 522 (4gb ram) Radeon 6310 - MSI Wind U230 (4gb ram and DTV card installed)
Psion Series 5 and 5mx, Psion Series 3 and Psion Siena

Wow well thanks...
If they sell some that fit (or even could fit) on e-bay could you plaese send me a link ?
Does the d-pad of your broken controller has the same dimensions as the one that is on dingoo ?

Nah it's more like an XBox360 one with a diameter of 24mm, if it's just the rubber pad you need then might be worth a go though.

The Dpad on the Wii Classic controller (I have the one with the Gamecube Port but they should be the same) is approx 22mm wide and the Dpad on a standard Wiimote is approx 17mm wide.
The A320's Dpad is 19mm-20mm wide. So not too much difference.

Something like these:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wired-Video-Game-Controller-Connect-Nintendo-Wii-Wireless-Wiimote-new-/330732092782?pt=UK_Sound_Vision_Other&hash=item4d012b3d6e
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WHITE-REMOTE-CONTROLLER-NINTENDO-WII-WIIMOTE-/260995174632?pt=UK_Controllers_Attachments&hash=item3cc48650e8

Also there's replacement DS Lite rubber pads on eBay for barely anything, the DS Lite has an 18mm wide Dpad so that's a good fit. Here:

At that price it's worth a go.
