Title: Dingoo A320E
Post by: retrodd on December 28, 2011, 02:45:55 pm
Did anyone test the new A320E from Dingoo Tech?
I have one and made a video.
What i'm interested in, could i put dingux on it? there's a menu called "Open-Source Emulators", can it open dingux files? I tried the psx emu from the a380 and the mame emu. all *.dge files doesn't work.

Any idea?

I didn't even know this eventuated into a real product. Where did you buy it from?

Sadly for Dingoo Tech, most people around here have enough sense to avoid their products.

Can you stretch the play-screen in menu options? Why it looks so small?

Just watched through the entire video, performance looked very bad. Gameplay was not smooth at all, especially on systems like the Neo Geo, not to mention games displaying in their native resolution and not fitting the screen properly (though I'm guessing there's a setting for this?)

So what is the A320E, a low spec version of the A380 with a bastardised version of Dingux on it?

Really not impressed, the GA330 seems a much better option considering its features, hardware and pricing. Better yet, move on to the next trend of Android based devices where your money actually buys you some decent hardware and a much nicer development environment.

yes, you can stretch the screen. "Fullscreen" "Normal" "Standard", "ms3" Neo Geo is not really fast, other games are working better. unit has no wireless and g sensor, but the same spec as A380 64MB Ram and 500 MHZ Cpu,

for what is that menu? "Open-Source Emulators"

Dingoo Tech are using community based Dingux emulators, so that's probably what they mean by the menu option of 'open-source emulators' - which is funny as they stole the emulators without permission and have not released their source code changes as stipulated by the license that they are released under.

i have the solution now. the option"open-source emulator" is not running yet. DT told me. there will be an update in future, so you can run a320 emu's directly on a A320E (DT). if i got the new firmware update, i will inform you.
