Hi,

I'm finished making a new "black-grey" theme. It looks rather nice... however I have discovered something rather strange. When I scroll to "System Settings" or the other end options, like "Games", the system freezes. It's rather odd. Here is some information on how I made the theme:

-Replaced all icons with custom icons.
-Used the same pixel size, and same PNG format.
-I left the smaller menu item icons, like "emulators" the same.
-Changed wallpaper, USB, and battery charging screens. All the same size and formats.

Any suggestions on what could be wrong?

BTW: I could upload my theme so you can experiment with it.

I've seen that happen. In my case, it was a missing/corrupt PNG file. Have you tried re-copying your updated icons to internal memory?

Here you go. Extract the archive, and use the RES folder. Make sure to select theme A.

I notice that your *_small.png images are 48x48 instead of 64x64 -- it's possible that this is the cause.

As you can see in the following properties dialogues, yours:

mine:

So it might be that the menu is having a problem rendering the 48x48 icons at 64x64 as they should be

Sorry about that. I had 64x64 pictures on the large, and 48x48 on the small, but I changed it because I thought the images were maybe too big. So both ways, I still had the problem. Sad

Edit: Wait... is small supposed to be 64x64? Thats not how my default icons were... :O

On themes I've made and used I had 64x64 for big and small. If you want to make the icon go smaller, just decrease its size within the canvas  Wink

That fixed it! Cheesy

All icons are now 64x64. Will add finishing touches to the theme, and will publish soon.  Wink
