:)
I for myself hope that native development has not died and we´ll see some more nice things on it. I´m still impressed how the native emus can keep up with the dingux ones.
Oh, and i think the HK models not playing the homebrew emulators aswell as the standard GBA emulator are probably the biggest hindering reason. If Dingoo-Digital would pull that stick out of their a** and release the damn sources, we´d all be happy... ::)

Apparently, Eule, Dingoo-Digital IS listening...to the resellers like dingoo-digital-usa and Dingoo.co.uk - because they have apparently decided to go back to making only the good Dingoo's...non-HK ones, with the paw...for the worldwide market - apparently these and other resellers have been putting the bug in china's ear, and they seem to have finally gotten the message that the rest of the world doesn't WANT the crappy half-paralysed Dingoo's that they wanted to try to foist off on us.

From my point of view the only two things im really missing on the native side is :
1) Good Speed PC Engine emulator
2) NEO Geo pocket
With these, for me the native side would be complete.
I have not gone down the Linux routine yet but with all the new stuff i might have to as some point..

I'm still waiting for an Atari 2600 emulator...

I dunno why you guys dis the HK model, my one runs perfect, plays all homebrew native emu's,but it has a paw on the back,build date sep09 ,only prob is the homebrew gbc emu freezing when selecting a 2nd rom,i think maybe the ones without the paw and newer then sep09 maybe the bad ones??

@Kalisiin
Thanks for the offer of help :)
I'll have one more go next week at installing Dingux and let you know how I get on.
Just to say that apart from the Dingux problem my un-pawed dingo runs everything very well with hardly any hang-ups!
Gamegear stuff is brilliant on the Dingoo screen - a real retro look and feel about it :D
Lets's just see where the little ol' Dingoo goes in the future...it's a great piece of kit (no perfect...but then what is)!!!!
