Dingoo Mega Pack

(1/5) > >>

Harteex:
Andross posted a great suggestion in the Project Ideas and Requests thread:

--- Quote ---A good tool would be an equivalent to the dingux local pack. This would make it easy for someone to just grab all of the available homebrew. This is especially useful for those like me who have been almost exclusively following dingux homebrew and would like an easy way to get into this other side of dingoo homebrew. Thanks to anyone who considers this idea!

So let's discuss!
We need to discuss which games and emulators to include, and the folder structure.
I personally would like the pack to consist of good stuff and not everything you can find.
Oh and if someone has a better name suggestion, feel free to speak up ;)

Let's start with the folder structure.
How do you people store your games anyway? I just throw most of it in the 3D folder myself.

This post is about native, not dingux.

I've deleted a bunch of posts because of confusion and offtopic. Please do not be offended if your post was deleted.

Harteex, please clarify. I think this is about the native firmware, right? This thread being in the native firmware part of the forum and all... ;)

I store my ROMs in folders appropriate for the extension: LNX, SMD, SMS, GG, etc. Mostly following the original folder structure. Apps go in '3D' or some subfolder of it.

Yes that's basically how I do it too. A suggestion could however be to move applications (StopWatch, overclock apps etc) to their own folder called Apps or Applications. Although that could be confusing due to the file extension. Or what do you think?

As for roms, we can of course not include commercial roms, but we could include especially good PD roms.

More opinions would be great  8)

What about calling those things "gadgets?" or "tools?"

OK, well, I am...and the syntax was not standard American English, the way it is normally spoken in this country, and hence my difficulty in understanding it.

I don't wanna be offensive, but America is two vast continents.
Really sorry for offtopic and I sure didn't post it just to show off.

Responded in PM, so as not to further side-track this.  But I was offended just there.
