Save Data Corrupt
« on: May 04, 2010, 01:18:10 am »
I was about 9 1/2 hours into a GBA RPG and saved my current game. I went back a bit later and I got a message that said "Save Data Corrupt" So, I couldn't load. I decided to just start another different game and came back to that one later, but I was just wondering if this is a common thing with Dingoo or did I do something wrong. By the way, I'm talking about an in-game save, I didn't have any saved states. I even copied the save over to my PC, but got the same message from VBA Advance.

So, do most people just use save states instead?

Had this issue only one time, when the native firmware was shutting down due to low power. It hasnt saved before.

Some GBA ROMs, like Pokemon Sapphire, won't recognize the Dingoo as a legitimate memory reporitory for in-game saves. There is, though, a tool available which lets you apply an SRAM patch that will fix this.
