Hey, I've found this right now.

I really can't understand portuguese but it seems like someone is working with the psx emulation and there will be an english translation soon (the menus are in portuguese). Good news!

First note: the "load file menu" doesn't seem to work for me. I can't select files.

I'm using the second version. There are two versions uploaded in openhanhelds.

Second note: Ok, tried the first release. It works.

Symphony of the night (castlevania) runs fairly well without sound in OD. The emulation needs a slightly tweaking to run smooth ( 2d games from psx). It's about time.

Sorry this thread should be part of linux forum. I was carried away and I didn't notice my mistake. If any administrator could move this thread there, it would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

The dev is hangin around on DingooBR's boards, he seens to be still fixing the bugs and maybe he can improve the frameskip engine. Interlace 5 helps a bunch on some games, clock count on 14 sometimes works. I noticed some speedup here also (overall).

Hey, thanks for the translation. Do you know what's the "fixed Od issue" about?

I've tried several combinations with cycle multiplier and interlaced but I don't see any improve with Castlevania. If there's anyone out there testing "FF7" , please, report something.


The menu is buggy. Indeed.

Well, as I've said before, at least someone's working on this. That's enough for me.

I dont really know, he ain't explaining much about it either. All i know is that something in OD was fixed. I'll ask for a full detailed changelog later.

Seens like the OD issue was actually not being able to move the selection arrow to select a rom to load, but i think this issue was on the legacy too. Posts there are a little bit messy..

The first Version were full of bugs because of problems in space as for en but uses screen space.
The multipiquer cycle was increased to 14 so you can bring more speed in certain games.
The frameskip was increased to 15, and I believe you can quit working.
The acount has changed Interlance creating level 5.
I did not expect so much expectation in the outside world in relation to improvements, and so there was only released to Portuguese. As you were excited by the novelty believe that by Monday I do in English.
Sorry for english mistakes in the post, because I had to use the translator.

Good work, mate. You have all the attention of all the community. Psx emulation is the next best thing in Dingoo (at least the 2d games emulation). You could be a scene's hero like the legendary booboo so it's normal if there's a lot of expectation with your outstanding work.

And an other proposition if you want to accurate it again, may be it's possible to do a bios selector in the emulator?

Yes,I think so, could be created menu selector bios, actually my original design was more ambitious and was tempted to make a menu selector clock in the emulator but as I'm not Dingoo is not possible to keep doing tests because usually does not work properly and people end up thinking it's fake.
