Hello to all the dingoo  users out there !
I made a nice little program called animaker . Basically , it is a frontend for Joyrider's ANI file tool , which lets you make your own dingoo animated boot screens / log off screens.  Grin

Update : Yay , version 0.2  Grin ! I modified the interface and made it easier to use , also fixed some bugs.

The package includes:
1.Animaker v0.2
2.Joyrider's ANI compiler (known as anicreate.exe)
3.Hxfe tool
4.12 frames for a logon animation
5.The 12 frames logon animation compiled into an ANI

Here are the timings for a 12 frame animation:
Boot up : 2 seconds
Power down : 1.5 seconds

Would it be possible to remove any splash screens altogether, and would that make it switch on/off even faster (like instantly)?

No,it is not possible to boot instantly.If you want the fastest boot time/power down time just make a single frame animation.If you remove the ani files from the system folder,the dingoo won't start up anymore.

Ah, ok, thanks. So the Dingoo is doing some initialisation stuff in the background, it's not showing a splash screen just to waste our time Cheesy
So in effect, if I use a single frame, your program is only replcaing the only frame already existing in the Dingoo, am I correct? I might give it a go, thanks again!

Yes , Pingouin , you're right.
i think it was pretty obvious that the dingoo is doing some initialization in the background as the unpacked hxf file has somewhere near 100 mb.
