Yinlips YDPG27

I'm so in love with the G27, even though I know it might not have shoulder buttons.

Could someone please help me find out more info (when will I be able to buy it?) on this.

I don?t remember where i Read it, but it seems that CPU is a Sunplus gp3300 , (or generalplus better said) like in jxd v5200 or the future s603, which is a bit worse than allwinner a10 (at least seeing benchmarks). Also, there is no almost documentation of generalplus firmwares (since they are really new), so maybe development for them is more difficult. However, they should include true analog. If not, this device lacks of interest for me.

Here it says that it uses the new GeneralPlus SoC Cortex a8.

There will be some new tablets using this SoC, so maybe we can get more information about this processor.

Till now, Yinlips YDPG27 is still not available though we call them everyday to get back one prototype. They really have the should buttons. Besides this, I have no more ideas on  this device.

Yinlips release this device on their Alibaba account is for the wholesale orders( may be no more than 500pcs in one order then they will start the mass production.) Thus, I do not think they will start their business for the retails now. I think they are making research on how many people will buy this device and adjusting their system.

Someone got their news for any stock must be for the wholesale orders not the retails.

i just dont get it when somebody owns a pandora, a xperia play, tons of other A quality devices and then get exicted about this, in my opinion ugly piece of shit and defintly compared to the above..

I inquired about the allwinner device, they quoted me 80 USD before shipping, which is reasonable for a 7 inch device, however it is risky to order without knowing much about the company.

Edit: that price is for sample/review unit

yes, there are some clone Yinlips devices here in China. I suggest you guys to make a search of the company you are going to deal with. At the same time, do contact the seller and get their confirmation that they really have the device. Use DHL or UPS as your shipping way and pay with Paypal if you want the sample. This will help you receive your device in a safer way. But I guess they will offer you a higher price if you buy the sample.
