Yinlips YDPG18A

Yes, another Yinlips handlheld named YDPG18. This time with an "A" at the end, just to make things clearer (?).

It's on willgoo, it has 5 point capacitive screen and can be upgraded to Android 4.0. The rest looks like the specs of the YDPG18 upgrade.

Looking forward to the review. I wonder how this one stacks up to the advertised specs.

Any idea if it has a real analog controller?

Does anybody know if this yinlips has a "divided" d-pad like the one in the JXDs handhelds?

What do you guys mean by "real analog"? I've seen people play Mario 64 with other Yinlips devices and it seems like the controls work fine.

The "analog" sticks on other yinlips devices are effectively d-pads. In the case of Mario 64, you can only run in 8 directions and you can't walk, because it doesn't detect how far you are pushing the stick.

Are they inferior to the analog nubs of the original PSP? I've been able to play many n64 games satisfactorily with that.

the nub is fine, but it doesn't work like TRUE analog, that means if you move the analog a little then the action on screen moves a little, if you move it alot than the action on screen moves alot, the action goes according to the pressure on the nub. problem is the nub whether its software or hardware is just like the dpad, all or nothing..

Maybe it's a YMMV thing, as I have been able to walk in Mario 64 using the PSP nub. Don't know how the Yinlips compares to that.
