Huh? I thought the screen was only 480 x 272. How could it support 800 x 480? I mean, they could squish the picture of course, but that really means nothing. Or is the actual screen's resolution 800 x 480?

probably 800x480 will be when connecting to TV through HDMI, but resolution is 480x272.

It's only got a 4.3" screen.  Does this model have the smallest hands EVER?!?

The design of G17 is the same with G16. That means they have the same size and appearance.

At the same time, the screen is the same. We are now testing this device. Will bring you the latest news here later.

Can you please test whether the right arrow key still gets stuck. I like the G16 the most of all chinese Android devices I have. But the d-pad is kind of annoying. Thanks.

http://ftp.suncomdigital.com/

Hi, it seems like sunkong is maybe real manufacturer. The FTP seems to include generic firmwares, that I am not sure if they will be suitable for Yinlips G17. Some of the rar files (the last one at least) are password protected....

http://www.softwincn.com/product2.asp   (S601)
maybe
http://www.suncomdigital.com/show.asp?id=216&type=&type_son=&pageno=1  ( Yinlips G17?)

The sunkong device has different buttons than G17, but they are very similar.

The softwin device is clearly a s601 (which reminds me to the softwin#desktop builds of s601, so cannot be a coincidence.

What is the difference between SKG-F05 and G17? It looks like JXD S5110 more than G17.

Ruffnutts is right man, these things are a freaking dime a dozen. Why are there so many released so soon?
It's like the "Smart phone" craze. New "Smart Phones" every other month.

I say "Smart Phone" in parenthesis, cause most of these phones are smarter than their users.
I mean c'mon, have you guys been on the roads here in the U.S. lately?
It's like a life and death battle out there.
People are nuts.
People are frickin out of their minds.
Lots of these people, should'nt even be on the road.
If it was just me, i wouldnt really care, but yknow, lots of decent people have children, and it's not right these reckless morons out on the road, mere inches away from them, with so much responsibility (or the lack thereof).

Your thoughts...HAHA!!!

Our friends of Willgoo have put a special price for this system.

Now it's 69 dollars, very similar to s602.

http://www.willgoo.com/yinlips-ydpg17-android40-handheld-wifi-direct-playing-p-277.html

And a two combo-pack for wifi link:

Just in case someone is interested.

When Willgoo offer payment with Credit card, I will buy it. Don`t know why most China online shop offer only Paypal.

What's up with PayPal? I just bought an s602 from Willgoo and was glad I could pay via PayPal, gives me a bit of extra peace of mind as I'm not giving out my CC details.
