I am downloading it now. Its probably the one that willgoo gave me when I did my video but I will test it out. It is slow as hell so it is going to take a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG time to download

Godness ! I confirm that is the slower and the longest download i have never see ! So i stop the dl and wait for your test...

I do not know whether Yinlips will release the ICS firmware for G16. But I will keep sending QB the firmware that we got from them.

By the way, I wonder if you guys can create such ICS firmware for G16? :-[

I am still testing it but so far the one that Willgoo provided me with two weeks ago and the one that snakemans rom is built on is better. This one still requires game manager. It does have a different boot screen but not much else. I will do some more tests and let you know.

@qbertaddict : Thanks for your answer. I'm staying on the Snakeman's Rom so. Yestarday night, i'm be pleased to see Riptide GP runs perfectly on G16 and GT3 too with full button ! This device is really a great device !

Not without GPU driver- graphic subsystem in ICS has some significant changes, previous drives (Android 2.3 and earlier) are not compatible with it

Is the lima driver (reverse enginering of the mali gpu driver) of any use for this?

Sorry, I don't know (I've never dealt with G16's cpu yet)

Sorry for the change of subject.

Can anyone tell me if there is any app available to convert touch controls (for android touch games) into actual button presses?

I know it's a long shot but it would be good to play PES or FIFA on the Yinlips.  The touch screen isn't great to be honest.

Oh another note.  I'm not sure if it's of interest but I have been trying to find a self powered solution of having a keyboard, mouse and usb flash drive connected to the G16.

My solar powered/lithium chargeable USB hub is on order.  I was hoping that I might be able to have USB OTG without the need to be plugged into a powered USB hub or PC.  Might get 5 mins out of it if I'm lucky!

Anyway if anyone can help me out with my first question then that would be great.

Which rom is better in your opinions? Snakeman's or the update obtained by Willgoo from Yinlips? I currently have the Willgoo rom but I'm thinking of flashing Snakeman's, what does it offer?

snakemans rom is nice but a new rom from yinlips was just released last night. One that is even newer than the one willgoo gave me a few days ago. Flashing it now. There is a new one for the ydpg18a and it seems to have improved performance. Still need the stupid game manager'

homer73.  Can you help me with the setup?  This looks really complicated.  I tried to map the buttons but nothing works.  Not what I am doing wrong.

DO NOT USE THE ROM THAT IS POSTED ON YINLIPS's WEBSITE FOR THE YDPG16. It defaults to the wrong screen resolution and renders the devices unusable. I had to reflash back to snakeman's custom rom.
