Have you tried 6? It apparently has less grinding  and the  graphics should be similar to the PSP  FF4 ones.  I can't stand grinding as much as I used to, so it would be great if it was indeed reduced significantly. About 7, I think I prefer playing it on an emu with all the additional features, but if they made some interesting improvements (like reducing the grinding)  I might consider buying it.
Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 on the go are a bliss! Reicast is just on alpha and it already  runs amazingly! Now if Dolphin gets good enough to run Sonic Heroes and DBZ  BT3...
Back to Square Enix, I remember seeing a video of DQVIII running on Android. Hope we'll see FFX HD on Android too, I've never played it!

What is the performance of the GC emulators like? I keep seeing it in My Apps but haven't tried it really.

FF7's English release already had its grinding significantly reduced (encounter rate reduced with EXP/AP/loot drops increased) compared to the original Japanese version. I played through the game without ever having to grind, and although I never went after Ruby Weapon or Knights of the Round, I still beat the final boss on my first try.

Some of you might be interested in the Gobliiins games which have been released on Android:

Less than a quid a game, unfortunately they are pretty frustrating so I'm not responsible for any smashed consoles. Used to love the second one on my Amiga.

Last time I checked it was somewhat able to run TLoZ  Wind Waker on the most powerful devices, but otherwise even people with flagship phones aren't able to play any game at a significant speed. I tried playing Sonic  Heroes on my GPD  G5A without any luck, I could hear the intro but I could only stare at a black screen.

GC emu is practically unusable, a proof of concept so to speak.I wouldn't expect  a GC emu running in a short time, and less in devices not capable of running openGL 3.0.

Did you tried that resolution-changing app?

Sorry, I don't know what you are talking about :p

Yeah,  I meant the encounter rate,  I hate random encounters...

I meant this app that helps to gain some speed boost in PPSSPP by lowering output resolution.

I would like a Jak and Daxter port. Also, ports from other ps2 games like God of War or Killzone
