this is a strange design. may be enought for a phone, because you want to quick-play some titles, and don?t need more buttons/controls

is interesting. Personally i prefer to get a complete set of controls, but i think i can use it too as my dariy phone, complemented with any 7" gaming device.

is a strange design, but i like it (i think)

I actually quite like it as a phone replacement, obviously it wouldn't be your only device but if you gave me the choice of a normal phone or this I would choose the G2. I miss Android phones with real keys.

The way I see it you carry around a phone anyway, might as well get one with basic gaming controls. I have a decent phone (Tegra 3) which is due an upgrade this year and I barely use it for anything other than calls, texting and browsing. If this is cheap then I may buy one and get a sim only contract as I really don't need a high spec phone.

Does anybody know the price and if it has shoulder buttons?

I just hate that none of these "gaming phones" support 1700 MHz and 2100 MHz frequencies...i'm stuck on EDGE with my T-mobile unlimited 4g data plan.

Noooo.... this looks great, the consumer in me wants it  :'( but it would be better if they made it in 4.3".

I generally like the design. Although that button layout looks a bit all over the place.

I just don't understand the choice of 1280x720 with such a weak CPU/GPU. They are just hurting graphics performance.
I would much rather see 4.3" 800x480 to preserve the graphics performance and still not look pixelated or try and get a samsung SoC. Something like a exynos 4412 would be good enough.
1gb of ddr2 ram is really pushing it for 720p. Would like ot see atleast ddr3 being used
Nice to see a decent size battery this time around.

I dont think the lack of D-pad to be that big of a deal. Although some shoulder buttons would be nice. I dont see any from examining the image closely. I do see two extra buttons outside the 4 game keys and a volume rocker.

Sometimes I wish I had the capital to create my own device.

It would be perfect if it were 4.3 "and the resolution would be lower. On my phone, I do not play Android powerfull games , but would be perfect to emulate NES and SEGA on the go. I want a phone for use like a phone, but if i can play nintendo on it will be grateful. I use my gamepads to play more powerfull games in more resolution.

shame that has no buttons L1 and R2, maybe they will be able to generate virtually in the corners?

i would love to see this a little smaller.
this setup of buttons is way enough for most android games, so if the mapper is really good and user friendly it would be perfect for casual gamers.

This one looks the most like a proper phone, and I really like those LED's, but I'm still puzzled that it has a control stick and no d-pad. Most Android games (and emulators) don't even use analog control.

Probably the 2nd "not so good" choice in this device, after the screen size. I would rather prefer the d-pad as well. Willgoo says in their blog that it tires the finger, this analog, after playing for a while.
