I can't keep up with whats coming out from China these days.
This is one year TOO late for me. I've already have a Shield Portable.
And I'm sitting on the fence at the moment for the Shield Tablet. (I'll play the waiting game
and see wot comes out next from Nvidia) Hopefully it will be the 64 bit Denver SoC.

I'm waiting for a real X86 portable device for gaming... this is the next step.

K1 will be impressive for... antut results.. but guys, you will not get significant improvements in performance for current software.

think... which emulator can use more than 2 cores?

even the native android games will not take real advantage on the cores or architecture, unless they must specific code for this.

and many people are waiting for K1 for running... dolphin? really, i don?t think dolphin will be playable on this "gen" of new SoCs (maybe in the next)

don?t missunderstand to me. i really want to test and enjoy K1 processors, but personally i will not expect more than we currently can do in any decent quad-core device. (of course, GPU will be better, but again, if software can?t take advantage of their CPU, no matter how powerful GPU is)

IMHO.

The new Intel atom quad core chips are x86... (like in the Asus T100)

I agree for almost everything...  but...

The T100 can run a surprising amount of games too, Tomb Raider from last year works on it and is very playable at low settings. Similarly AMD's low clock quad core A series can run some surprisingly modern games and kicks out barely any heat. I wish someone would make a gaming handheld based around that tech.
Handhelds:
GPD Win, GPD XD 64gb, Pap KIII-Plus, RS-97, RS-90, New Bittboy, 3DS XL, DSi XL, GBA SP, GBBC Clone, Gameboy Pocket, PSP Go,
PC:
HP Envy M6, Acer 522, Dell Mini 9
Psion 5 & 5MX
Tons of other old laptops and tablets.....

yes, i saw these videos but take note, this demo is running in a race alone, there is no other objects (racers) interacting.

and the sound is a good indicator that is not full speed 100%.

hope i get wrong about this, but really i thing this "gen" of SoC (K1) will not play 100% full speed on dolphin...

There are a couple of factors you didn't include, regarding Dolphin on K1.
First, it's the quad-core version rather than the dual-core OCed one, meaning it will get (according to Dolphin devs) 30% to 70% boost.
Secondly, not all GameCube and Wii games use the same resources - I think that even playing Paper Mario is a wonderful achievement, and both of them are of the least demanding games for those consoles. Not to mention Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventure, Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros., which aren't very demanding either.
Lastly, and most importantly, Dolphin on ARM is still a very young project. It can improve in many ways, and I'm guessing there can even be unofficial forks of it trading accuracy for speed for selected games. These improvements\regressions can boost the speed by literally hundreds of percents - while not making a better emulator, it makes for a better experience.

Now, for the OP - it looks like a Shield for people who liked the JXD look. Not my thing, especially since the Shield is already pretty cheap and is better in almost every way.

Two three-dimensional joystics

Does this mean that, besides the X and Y, they can move along the Z-axis?  ;D

no 5ghz wifi (none of them have it)no L3 or R3 for gamestreaming, ergonomics look bad as it has no grip, mobile analog sticks are a mixed bag, I dont see this as useful for anyone who already has a shield, Might be good for some enthusiasts though. I think its neither aimed at casuals nor at hardcore so its pretty similar to a jxd 7800b(which i dislike design wise) with better specs.  Wish it had GPD analog's

The green accents make me want to scream. Also, where are start and select? I hope they didn't make the same mistake as JXD of putting them on the side of the device.

I just noticed, circle and cross are flipped...

They meant these joysticks aren't flat "rockers". I'm not sure what better term can be coined in regards of that type of joysticks...

Btw, Tegra 4 is stove-worthy, the design is rather hideous with the green XTREEM GAEMER accents and I'm not sure why booth babes are a necessity. I'll pass on this.
