Holiday in China
« on: November 15, 2014, 02:22:45 pm »
Hello everybody.

I just come back from China. I stay one month in Shenzhen  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Here is some feedback from my different visit...

JXD

For JXD, it is esay. They stop Android gaming devices. The 7800 and the 5800 are the last.....They only do smartphones and tablets.

Ireadygo

1. We come back with a little stock of 'Much W1'
2. I've got the Much i6 prototype in my hand...Modern Soc and 4G. Release begin 2015
3. They will release one 'accessorie' end 2014....and next year, begin 2015 too, a new kind of devices

We participate on a 'marketing action' in a big shopping galery

8Bitdo

Bluetooth gamepad with a look of Nes or Famicom. Very Nice

Hope you had a good time, and thanks for sharing the pics!

Kind of a shame to hear about JXD. You've confirmed what was rumored for about two months - but at least they had a good run.

About Much... This is kind of big news. Maybe the new device will cause a drop in prices for Much W1, but I'm kind of worried about them dropping support for it once a new one comes out.
More importantly, assuming that they continue using MediaTek SoC for the i6, 4G compatibility means the new device will have a far superior GPU - either the PowerVR G6200 or Mali T760, which both support OpenGL ES 3.1 and are far more powerful than the Mali 400 or the Mali 450. Needless to say, this is a major improvement. You could run Dolphin on it, albeit slowly.

Anyway, thanks for the info. Maybe I'll hold off on getting a new phone until I hear more news from them.

No...I can't.

They already waiting the "official presentation" to show the new product...

And, for what i know, i think that  device change name...it should not be "i6"...

I figured. It's pretty exciting, right now, ireadygo/Snail are the only company out there making gaming phones. Hopefully, some other companies can pop up out of woodwork, and give them some competition, and keep making better products and fixing problems.
