Does anyone have a white one? All the reviews show the black version..
The second batch that we got now for this device is the white one. You can consider about it on Willgoo.

More technical questions:
-there would be more improvements like Battery type for more duration?
-and also it would put a new GPU,CPU or RAM increase for better quality in emulation?
-they would put more Android buttons with the Dpad and Buttons contact remanufactured?

Ok i know that probably this makes the new Droid X360 revision more expensive but i'm ok with a 4GB Internal Hard Disk and also a better battery type and with the main fix of the buttons and dpad contacts but my reason that i've ordered the device is for MAME emulators (specially Tiger Arcade due to the CPS3 emulation), the 8 & 16 bit emulators also some 2D PSX games, and also for reading PDFs of VG Guides and Books :).

Anyway i'm patient for that and also because MUCH isn't totally confirmed.

I found this awesome DPAD fix for my Droid X360, i did the fix and my droid is working perfectly ( I also added the fix to my ABXY buttons and they are working perfectly as well). You will also need to update your droid with the super script. This is the link for the fix:

Thanks for the video wololo, i thought that furan's patch could make a difference, but then it seems more like a hardware problem than software related. It's really a shame because i had some great expectations about the Droid X360, but the way it is even i don't think anyone could pull at least some "hadouken" with this joypad.

hmmm i haven tried the patch yet... but my main problem is that it is impossible to hold a dpad button and a A B Y X button at the same time. this cancels them out. like when you have a crappy keyboard on your pc that only handles 2 buttons at a time. if i try to shoot upwards in Metal Slug 2 (comes with the device on Tiger emulator MAME) i can only shoot once. if i realease the Dpad button and at the same time hit the shoot button i get one more shot. if i use the touch screen controller i can shot rapedly in any direction. with the buttons it is not possible only if you use just the shoot button. then this is eather a "design flaw" or software fault. it is not a hardware fault. yes the buttons are hard to push but it is not that making you miss keystrokes.

the system can't handle more than one request at a time.

i can hear a disturbance in the speaker when i push the Dpad buttons... you can hear the "signal rate" how many beats per sec it sends the button request. at first it is 10-15 a sek and after 1 sec it is down to 2-3 a sec. pushing a extra dpad button does nothing.

Furan need to tak a look if he can make sure that the device can handle 3-5 buttons at a time or else we won't be able to do combos

is so werid what your dx360 doing.
i use the droid after applying furan's patch, and i cannot experience overlap buttons problems. if you see in my video, i can play mame tiger arcade/marvel vs capcom, and i advice when i do some moves that requires special input, as specials where i can show that i move down, down/forward, forward & Mp+Hp (or Lp+Mp), and the move is registered by the system correctly.

i play Tekken 3 too, and i can do charges with 1+2+3+4 buttons without problems, or can play with king, doing chain grabs.

befor aplying furan's patch, i played the same games, and i can do moves with more than 1 input at the same time (but the system response are delayed)

question: are you using any soft-keyboard different from the android's original ? if you're using any joystick to touch software such GameKeyboard, USB/BT Joystick Center, etc... the touch mode can simulate only one touch at the same time, but do this quickly for more than one button, to simulate multitouch.

another soft-keyboards may affect the way they handle more than one touch, and may cause issues too.

here is a video of the scenario http://youtu.be/khBBrsv1p-A

and i tried to uninstall the other keyboards that i installed after i got it... no difference.
can anyone try this that i did in the video and confirm that only i have this problem or it is all of them.

qbertaddict, can you try out a mod for me? What I was finding is that after pressing a key, a lot of keys would be dropped for a period of time. What I've done is modified the driver to use a shorter interval for checking keypresses (but not too aggressive, similar to yinlips).

Anyway you can try out the driver here:
http://www.escapehatchlabs.com/private/x360-sun4i-keypad.zip

After making this modification my keys stopped being dropped.

Unzip, backup your /vendor/modules/sun4i-keypad.ko, overwrite with this one, and reboot.

Thanks.

must i use ADB? or something ? not possible with Astro to write to vendor folder

Edit: dang... i did it.. used ADB and pushed the new keyboard file to the device and rebooted... it works... the x360 i acually usable... hotdang Furan...

Gaming controls aside, how well does this device function as a tablet? Since I don't have a lot of disposable income it would be nice to have something that is multipurpose. Hence my interest in an android device vs the gcw.

Has someone one been able to test hdmi out or using a keyboard and mouse? Any tests using vnc or something similar to test a remote connection?
